Don’t talk the talk. Walk the walk.
A goal without a concrete plan won’t come to fruition. It is important to teach your child how to brainstorm the various steps required to achieve any goal. Does your child want to join a school club? Does your child want to raise a grade in a particular class? Does your child want to become a faster reader? Without coming up with action steps and then systematically doing them, your child won’t be achieving potential. This will help your child develop a “can do” attitude which is an incredibly powerful lifelong habit.
